Over on digg, I saw a very Mattie-like script for GreaseMonkey/Firefox-- it's used to eliminate extra exclamation points on webpages. Using this, now I never have to look at web sites with painful exclamations. This is a comforting thought.

hi, i'm helen's lj friend broken_pistol. i just wanted to say that i only today heard about digg.com (through findlaw.com) and it's nifty.

and i tried not to leave any exclamation points, but i failed.... miserably... well ok, not miserably, there's only one... but i didn't succeed and didn't even notice it till after i posted the comment!... there i go again. good thing your browser takes those blasted things out..
